My stay at Cardo Roma was marred by several unfortunate experiences. While the hotel's facilities appeared well-maintained and had the potential for great service, the reality was quite different. The staff's rudeness upon check-in and lack of training significantly detracted from what could've been an enjoyable visit. Additionally, the room conditions were disappointing, particularly concerning issues like air conditioning that didn't function as advertised.

Rooms
5.0
The room I stayed in was poorly equipped, with an uncomfortable mattress and a strong sewage odor that was quite unpleasant. There were also insufficient electrical outlets, which made charging devices a hassle.
Service
5.0
I found the service lacking from the start. Despite being at the reception for check-in, I felt ignored, and even when I raised my voice to get attention, the response was lackluster. The dismissive attitude continued throughout my stay, which was very disappointing.
Location
Dining
5.0
While the on-site restaurant had a decent menu, the prices felt steep for what was offered. Dining options were limited considering the hotel’s remote location, leaving little choice for meals outside.
Facilities
5.0
Despite being a newly built hotel with spacious outdoor areas, the indoor pool and spa were disappointingly closed during my visit, which was a significant letdown considering I booked the hotel under the impression these facilities were included.

5.6/10

My stay at Cardo Roma was quite mixed. The excellent service from the staff made me feel valued and welcomed, but I found the dining options not particularly impressive for a four-star hotel. The room was comfortable and cleaned diligently every day, but the location, while quiet, felt a bit distant from the main attractions of Rome. Overall, it had its highs and lows, making it a good but not perfect choice.

Rooms

The room was clean, well-maintained, and had a comfortable bed with good facilities. It was without unpleasant odors, which made my stay really pleasant.
Service
10.0
The staff were really good, always helpful and attentive, making me feel genuinely welcomed. Their professionalism was a significant highlight during my visit.
Location
7.0
Although the hotel provided a serene setting, it was a bit far from the city center, necessitating taxis or shuttles for accessing the main attractions.
Dining
6.0
Dining options were a bit lackluster for a hotel of this caliber. While breakfast had a good selection, the overall variety was limited and didn’t quite meet expectations.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had well-maintained areas and offered a range of facilities, although some services like the spa were at additional cost. The pool area was a lovely spot to relax, even if it wasn't fully operational during my visit.

5.0/10

I had a pretty solid stay at Cardo Roma, but there were some ups and downs. The staff was really good, with Davide really going out of his way to help me fix some booking issues. My room was spacious and well maintained, and the pool area was nice for chilling. However, the food options weren't great, and the location felt a bit isolated, making it tough to access downtown easily.

The staff was amazing. Davide went above and beyond to rectify issues during my stay, making me feel appreciated as a Titanium Elite Lifetime member.
Location

The hotel is a bit far from the city center, which was inconvenient. It's about 15-18 minutes away, and getting a taxi can add up.
Dining

The breakfast options were pretty basic, and the dining experience overall could use some improvement.
Facilities
7.0
The pool and fitness facilities were nice, although I was disappointed that the spa wasn't available during my visit.

I had a lovely stay at Cardo Roma, where the stylish decor and refreshing facilities made for a pleasant escape. The hotel's pool area was particularly inviting, and the attentive staff enhanced my experience. However, the location was a bit distant from the city center, which might be a downside for some visitors.

Rooms
9.0
I stayed in a Junior POP King Suite, which was spacious, clean, and boasted quirky decor that added a fun vibe to my stay. However, the bathtub's placement under the TV felt awkward, especially with a small child around (not the ideal setup for privacy).
Service
10.0
The service was excellent, with every staff member being genuinely welcoming and helpful, which made me feel valued throughout my stay. Their attention to detail, particularly in housekeeping, ensured my environment was always spotless.
Location
6.0
The hotel is about a 20-minute taxi ride from downtown Rome, which was a bit inconvenient at times. However, they offered a shuttle service for a modest fee that helped alleviate some of the travel hassle.
Dining
9.0
I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had an extensive selection of hot and cold foods, and the staff was more than willing to fulfill specific requests. Everything was delicious, especially the pastries!
Facilities
8.0
The amenities were well-maintained, and I loved spending time by the pool area. It was a clean and relaxing space, although the room service options could be expanded for more variety.

I had a mixed experience at Cardo Roma. While the hotel was clean and well-maintained, I encountered issues with staff friendliness and inconsistent dining prices. The surroundings were tranquil, but the distance from downtown Rome made getting around a bit inconvenient.

Rooms
7.0
My room was clean and comfortable, but it felt somewhat dated and small for what I expected. The setup was a bit awkward with the bathtub placement, compromising privacy.
Service
6.0
The service was hit or miss. While some staff members were friendly and accommodating, others seemed unfriendly and robotic, which detracted from the overall experience.
Location
6.0
The hotel is about a 20-minute ride from the city center. I appreciated the scheduled shuttle service, but it's worth noting that accessing the nearest metro station requires walking along roads with little or no sidewalks.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a disappointment. Although there was a variety of options, the pricing discrepancies were frustrating. The service in the restaurant was also lacking in attentiveness.
Facilities
7.0
Facilities like the pool area and spa were pleasant. The pool itself was clean, but I had to pay to access it, which felt like an unnecessary extra charge.
